FAQs

Firstly, I only work with women.
I support women to thrive in any aspect of life, socks, love and relationships.
It’s such a personal and individual subject area that it’s better for me to give you some examples:
I’ve worked with young women in their 20’s who want to exist in their dating world in a healthier way than they’ve learned from their families;
I’ve supported women in the 60’s and 70’s who are bereaved and venturing out into the dating world again;
I’ve worked with women who want to explore self-pleasure and have challenges relating to religious and cultural messaging around this;
I’ve worked with women who are now experiencing an empty nest and want to reconnect to themselves and their partner in this new stage of life;
I’ve worked with women who are struggling to re-ignite physical intimacy after a few children;
I’ve worked with women who have been assaulted at one (or several) points in their life and having had therapy they now want support. moving forward into this world of relationships and physical intimacy;
I’ve worked with women who are afraid to undertake more intimate physical examinations and are anxious about how this might impact their health…
As you can see, the women and the challenges are all different.
If you’re not sure, drop an email to admin@wyckedwomen and we’ll get a chat and see if my services are right for you, or if not, i’ll do my best to direct you to someone who can help.

The sessions and their content are as varied as the women and their goals.
A key component of my work is consent, so everything I do is an invitation or suggestion for you to accept or reject.
Nothing is ever ‘required’.
Some sessions go deep into somatic experience; others are just dancing around your living room; Some sessions are full of tears and others are full of laughter.
What’s always standard is opening the session by celebrating you and what’s been going on in your life since our last session and it always ends by looking over the session and identifying any key learnings, observations, or breakthroughs you might have had, and showing gratitude to yourself for showing up for you.

In normal coaching sessions, no.
My study has been focused on women and the particular challenges we face.
If you require support with mens’ issues I highly recommend Cam Fraser and Carla Crivaro as two excellent starting points for you.
Time To Talk is slightly different. Check out the TTT FAQ section.

Not at the moment, but keep your eyes peeled in my email group and on socials - you never know when I might bring one on!

All sessions are done on Zoom, so location is not specific, i’ve worked with women all over the world!
-
Yes! My work is faith sensitive.
I come from a religious background myself so I have a deep appreciation for the importance of your values.
The specific faith background doesn’t matter, we will be discussing everyone in your personal context.

Coaching is not a replacement for any kind of counselling or psychiatric treatment. I can work well along side it, and I have worked with clients in partnership with their other service providers.
However, each case is unique. Each person’s goals and challenges are unique.
If you are in counselling or receiving psychiatric treatment and you wish to undertake coaching with me, this will be discussed with you and also with your other service providers to determine if this is supportive for you right now.
In some cases, it might not be the best approach for you and is best revisited at a later date when you are further in your journey of recovery within your particular life experience.
Each person and their circumstances is unique and so I don’t have a yes/no answer for you.
If you are undertaking counselling or psychiatric support and you think you might want to engage with coaching with me, do reach out and we can discuss your circumstances and the best plan for you.
You can email admin@wyckedwomen.com to arrange a call to discuss.

Honestly, it depends on what’s going on with you, what your goals are, and what your challenges are.
As a blanket statement, coaching does not replace counselling or psychiatric treatment. It can and often does work well along side them.
I have previously coached women who knew they needed these other services but were unable to take the steps to engage with them, and their coaching was focused on brining them to that point.
For other women, coaching is actually the right option and the don’t actually need counselling or psychiatric support, these are just their ‘go-to’ assumptions for support.
Generally speaking - I say that counselling leans to stabilising you when you feel out of control; coaching leans to helping you thrive once you’ve stabilised.
If you’re unsure, do reach out and book a call to discuss your circumstances and needs and we can establish the most supportive path for you. Email admin@wyckedwomen.com
